Philip and Evelyn Moyo

The Founders

Philip and Evelyn Moyo

Having served as a Baptist church pastor for many years around Zimbabwe, Philip Moyo together with his wife Evelyn have been moved by the plight of less-privileged children in the communities they served to helping them access education. They felt called to the cause of showing kindness, empathy and understanding to the needs of the under-privileged children.

Their own personal experience of having a child with cerebral palsy who could not be accepted in mainline school has led the couple to respond to the call of filling that gap. As a result they have started a primary school with the aim of integrating orphans and children living with disabilities in an all-inclusive education system institution.

Our Objectives

We are committed to:

  • Improving the lives of orphans and children living with disabilities in our community by providing them with the necessary educational resources and support systems.
  • Integrating orphans and children living with disabilities in an inclusive school.
  • Establishing an institution that fosters a sense of belonging and empowers children to become self-sufficient and contributing members of the society.
  • Ministering to the whole person as we seek to address educational, spiritual, physical and emotional needs of these children.
  • Transforming the communities to think positively about the less privileged children living among them.
